Orca AI is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead Orca AI鈥檚 international expansion across Rest of World (ROW) markets, with a core focus on\the defense sector. Based in Israel, you'll drive strategic growth, forge key partnerships, and introduce our maritime technology to new regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Growth: Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for defense and security sectors across Europe,聽 Asia-Pacific and Middle East.
- Partnerships & Sales: Build relationships with naval forces, defense integrators, and government agencies; lead complex sales and tender processes.
- Strategy & Insight: Identify new opportunities, understand procurement ecosystems, and deliver strategic input on regional defense needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, R&D, and Sales Engineering to adapt solutions for defense applications.
Requirements
- 10+ years in business development or sales within defense, security, or dual-use tech.
- Strong network in international defense ecosystems.
- Proven track record in introducing new technologies to government and military clients.
- Proven success in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Deep knowledge of defense procurement and maritime operations.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel (up to 40%).
