Do you want to ensure a green future by reducing the Co2 footprint of global shipping, while unlocking transformational operational efficiencies for an industry that is the backbone of world trade? Then you've come to the right place!
Arinto is a tech start-up founded in early 2023 on a mission to transform the "sail fast then wait" modus operandi that's causing an avoidable 100 million tons of CO2 to be emitted by the shipping industry every year. This complex operational problem can be solved with a combination of tech and trusted data - today. The challenge is real, but with engagement of key partners, we have demonstrated the solution exists. And it is necessary, because the stakes are high. If global shipping was a country it would be the 6th biggest GHG emitter (more than Germany!). We need to rapidly reduce these emissions to meet green decarbonization targets. The Arinto product delivers significant value for shipping companies by saving Co2, saving fuel, and enhancing collaboration across the value chain.
Following a successful first year of product development, and with a significant level of interest from the industry, along with new investment, we are seeking to expand our team with this key leadership role. You will utilise your understanding of the maritime market and the dynamics of ship operations, freight brokerage, or chartering to consult shipping companies on how they can unlock new operational efficiency, and meet their decarbonization goals, using the Arinto product. You will own and drive forward the commercial targets of Arinto as the company grows.
