In this role, you'll:

 

Be working within the Coordinator General division. Your new role will see you manage marine fleet assets within the limits of cost, risk and performance. You will ensure assets are accurately reported on from a status, condition and financial perspective and the Maritime Asset Management Plan is maintained accurately.

 

You will also:

 

  • Manage the Fleet Section, including management of vehicles, trailers, and vessels
  • Maintain risk management systems and processes to apply across assets whole lifecycle
  • Develop, review and implement Maritime vessel fleet policy and procedures
  • Manage contracts for goods and services, and construction related to fleet procurement

About you

 

You will use your strong interpersonal and customer service skills to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders ensuring assets are ready and reliable for our operations team.

 

You’ll bring experience and knowledge of the challenges and opportunities that face the Maritime vessel fleet program. You’ll bring a solutions focused mindset to the team and will feel excited by the opportunity to coordinate and deliver a complex program of works. You will be an impeccable communicator and have a strong knowledge of fleet management policy and legislation, combined with contract management skills.

 

You will also be able to meet the following requirements:

 

  • CPAM Accreditation or must be eligible to receive CPAM within 6months of employment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, professional experience in the marine industry
  • Valid Australian motor vehicle driver's license
  • Willingness to work outside normal working hours and to travel interstate on occasion.
