The Maritime Academy of Toledo is a grade 6-12 community school in Toledo, Ohio. It is our vision at the Maritime Academy of Toledo to shape future leaders by developing strong character and innovative minds. Teacher would teacher grades 10-12.
Responsibilities
*Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
*Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
*Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to guide their development.
*Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student achievement and address any challenges.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
*Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Qualifications
Valid Ohio Career Tech license.
Clear FBI and BCI background check.
