Description

Locations: Davis Monthan Air Forces Base (DMAFB), AZ; Tucson, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; and San Diego, CA

Dates: Multiple Courses per year


We are seeking Maritime Warfare Role Players (MWRP) to support a formal course conducting full mission profiles in both Land and Maritime environments. This is a temporary contract position aligned with the course schedule and locations throughout the year. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maritime FMP Role Players will perform duties on a military contracted vessel for continuous hours during scenarios.
  • The MWRP may serve as medical patients, OPFOR, or as required by the scenario.
  • Responsibilities include strong swimming ability and staying in character throughout entire maritime scenarios, including potential rotary wing extraction in a carrier basket.
  • Required to perform duties on an approved military contracted vessel for up to 54 continuous hours during certain scenarios.
Requirements

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift and carry 200 lbs. for 400 meters nonstop.
  • Previous documented experience as a Coxswain, RHIB crewmember, safety swimmer, or Water survival Instructor.
  • Have knowledge and proficiency in the safe handling and use of firearms, small arms, including SIM, UTM, paintball, and blank-firing weapons, and pyrotechnics, including diversionary munitions; training hand grenades; RPG, IED, IDF, and CAS simulators; and smoke effects.
  • Be comfortable wearing cultural, BLUFOR, & OPFOR attire relevant to each scenario; being physically searched; being shot with marking ammunition; being around loud noises; and receiving application of moulage.
  • Worked as a rescue swimmer for the US Navy, or Coast Guard.
    • Coast Guard Advanced Survival Technician qualified or similar.
    • Acceptable similar qualifications TACREV will restrict is MWRPs to have at a minimum are:
      • US Marine Reconnaissance Course, US Marine Combatant Diver Course, and other US Marine equivalents
      • US Marine Corps Water Survival Qualifications: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Instructor
      • US Navy Swim Qualification Levels: 1-First Class, 2-Second Class (with the caveat of a pre-test demonstrating a 200-meter swim in less than 15-minutes)
      • US Army Special Operations Combat Water Survival Test – Advanced Level
      • US Army Special Forces Combat Diver Course, Ranger School Water Survival Course
      • US Air Force Water Survival Training for Aircrew and Special Warfare Operator Training
  • Prior medical experience and training is preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Travel reimbursement is provided as detailed in each contract.
  • Compensation commensurate with experience and contractual rates.
