Position as a Client Rep/RIG Operation Manager: 

As a Rig Operation manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our offshore wind projects. You will play a key role in overseeing and managing various marine operations for our clients’ projects. From project planning to execution, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and success of our marine activities. This role requires a high level of expertise in areas such as risk management, navigation, dynamic positioning (DP), jacking operations, and vessel management.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the daily operation of long-term chartered vessels, including technical contract management, budgeting, and time scheduling.
  • Ensuring compliance with national and international legislation related to marine operations.
  • Acting as a liaison between the client and the company, representing Head Energy A/S with professionalism and expertise.
  • Conducting proactive assessments and quality assurance of marine and site-specific procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Conducting research, selection, and suitability analysis for offshore wind projects.
  • Performing audits and inspections of various types of vessels to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and industry representatives.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
Your background:
  • Experience in vessels management, with a focus on the renewable offshore sector.
  • Master Mariner or Marine engineer (Junior or senior officer)
  • We prefer that you have the full GWO package.
  • Have an offshore medical.
  • Technical knowledge of Marine operations, including rig management, vessel maneuvering, and positioning.
  • Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and documentation review.
  • Understanding of national and international maritime legislation and regulations.


Position as a OIM
As a OIM you must have marine experience. 
Assisting in the back office with various tasks related to the work scope such as developing contracts, scope supervision reviewing or developing offshore installation schedules. Assisting in the back office with various tasks related to the work scope such as developing contracts, scope supervision reviewing or developing offshore installation schedules.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Evaluate WTG installation on potential future wind farms (development projects) mapping out DEVEX and CAPEX costing forms, technical solutions, program assumptions and durations, risk and opportunities for bottom fixed projects (concept evaluation of new technology)
  • Supporting portfolio planning of use of Jack-ups across by providing assessments to the Asset Projects
  • Support sourcing processes of Jack-up vessels
Your Background:
  • Supervising working offshore
  • We prefer that you have the full GWO package.
  • Great numeracy skills and a logical mind.
  • High level of fluency in speaking and writing English, although it does not have to be your first language.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the wind turbine installation vessel market and the most common installation concepts
  • Understand how to achieve safe and high-quality construction or engineering project outcomes.
  • Great communication skills and can liaise and cooperate.
  • Some experience of managing offshore installation scopes, similar construction scopes and/or including drafting contract specifications for heavy lifting, deck layout, and vessel mobilization
  • Are bright, curious, and original and thrive within a team and as a leader.


Position as Marine Supervisor/Coordinator:
To coordinate all project-related traffic associated with the construction site, as well  as all other project-related traffic to and from the offshore construction site and from  other ports e.g. wind farm service vessels, installation vessels, survey vessels, and marine  
mammal observation vessels in cooperation with the contractor, in order to avoid loss of  time and conflict of interest as well as to maximize safety.  

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • To coordinate the movement of all personnel and equipment offshore associated with the project incl. crew change.
  • To ensure all vessels working within the construction site are suitably certified and meet the vessel requirements
  • To ensure that all personnel working within the offshore construction site have the required offshore medical fitness and certification for the relevant training courses required in relation to the work scope and training matrix.
  • To coordinate construction works with relevant authorities like the DMA (Danish Maritime Authority) so that relevant information can be submitted to the shipping industry through the Danish equivalent to Notices to Mariners (NtM) (Efterretninger for Søfarende, EfS)
  • To keep relevant authorities like the DMA continuously informed about any changes to dates and times, work methods, etc.
  • To handle an emergency in accordance with the Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
  • To kick off the internal communication chain in case of an incident according to the severity level as described in the Incident Notification Procedure
  • To maintain and distribute the “Mobile Object’s List” (MOL) as necessary.
  • To maintain and distribute the “Weekly Traffic Info” (WTI) as necessary.
  • To collect emergency contact details and update the database for all personnel intending to go offshore.
  • To issue daily reports to the project team as requested
  • To obtain work schedules from the site coordinators/contractors in ample time to ascertain if there are traffic-related conflicts of interest and report to the various site coordinators/contractors if there are traffic-related conflicts of interest
  • To promptly notify relevant authorities like the DMA of navigational issues at or nearby the construction site (NtM), and relevant authorities like the Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority (NOTAM) for air traffic issues
  • To lead / participate in the daily coordination meeting and issue the minutes of the meeting.
  • To monitor weather reports/conditions and provide weather forecasts (provided by the EMPLOYER) as well as information if any threshold limits are expected to be exceeded to all involved parties
  • To maintain the permit-to-work (PtW) system in order to coordinate the work of different contractors within the site as per the PtW Procedure.
  • Checking the PtW applications for validity e.g.
  • Contractor having Custody of the location where the activity is to be performed
  • Check and Approval of anchor patterns and Jack-Up-Positions as handed in by the subcontractors in cooperation with other parties, e.g. MWS or Certifier.

Your Background:
  • Qualified and licensed Nautical Officer with valid or former STCW license
  • GOC (General Operator’s Certificate) / ROC (Restricted Operator’s Certificate)
  • Seagoing experience preferably offshore wind
  • Marine Coordination experience
  • Fluent in the English language in writing and speaking,
  • Good knowledge of the Standard Marine Communication Phrases (SMCP),
  • Self-reliant working practice,
  • Good knowledge of the use of MS Office.

Marine Coordination Assistance
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Administration of the database of the offshore personnel including the administration of the training certificates according to the “Minimum Training Qualification Matrix”.
  • Administration of the various reporting systems.
  • Administration of the database of the project-related vessels.
Your Background:
  • Administration background (Bachelor level)
  • User of MS Office.
  • Offshore wind experience/ Knowledge of the industry
