Senior Maritime Engineer (646)

Job Description :
Key responsibilities and duties of this position include:
 

• Develop safe and efficient structural solutions and undertake design analysis and preparation of calculations as per Eurocode standards.
• Conversant of UK Maritime codes Analysis, Assessment and Design Procedures.
• Deliver projects in accordance with quality, timescales and budget.
• Ensure checking of all design output and coordination (Interface) between other disciplines.
• Monitor progress towards team and individual objectives and act on issues that may affect delivery to meet the agreed program.
• Responsibility includes timely and accurately technical delivery of project tasks assigned.
• Ensure all design and assessment work is carried out in accordance with Mott MacDonald's quality standard procedures.

Candidate Specification :

• Ability to work and collaborate positively and effectively with different team members, staff from other disciplines and project stakeholders;
• Knowledge of MS Office in particular Excel and Word;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
