What You´ll Do

  • Lead system design, specification, and integration activities for maritime drones and autonomous submarines, including weapon integration.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements documentation, and interface definitions.
  • Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, controls, and communications) to ensure system integration and compliance.
  • Perform detailed analyses and simulations to validate system performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the testing, validation, and deployment phases for maritime systems, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, operations, and customers to define and refine system requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and lifecycle management of deployed systems.


Requirements

What You´ll Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering, specifically with unmanned maritime systems or autonomous submarines.
  • Proven experience integrating weapon systems such as torpedoes, mines, missiles, or armed drones.
  • Proficient understanding of maritime platform technologies, navigation systems, sensor integration, and maritime environmental considerations.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering tools (e.g., SysML, MBSE tools, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Direct experience with maritime drone projects or autonomous submarine development.
  • Background in autonomous systems development or robotics.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and safety standards related to unmanned maritime systems.
  • Prior experience with agile or iterative development processes.
