Who we are
NORSTA Maritime is the Regional Maintenance Provider for the North-East (RMP-NE) region, delivering project management capabilities, technical expertise and quality assurance activities for the Royal Australian Navy fleet.
Our advanced maritime sustainment planning coordinates fleet maintenance at scale across Far North Queensland, Northern Australia and adjacent waters for the Commonwealth of Australia.
Due to demand for our services, we are expanding rapidly and developing further capacity for more vessel platforms.
Note: This position requires Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (minimum Baseline).
About the role
The role will be working with a dedicated team of maritime professionals providing maintenance services for a RAN vessel. It will support the team by delivering engineering requirements to the project.

The role is an initial six-month fixed-term contract but is highly likely to be extended for the life of the project.
About you
You have a minimum of five years' experience in a Defence-related environment, with a high degree of familiarity with Defence statutory compliance. Self-driven and self-motivated, you pay attention to the details. You can provide excellent analysis of a problem and work well with others with your problem-solving techniques.
