Your Responsibilities:- Obtain a criminal background check
- Bring approved work shoes
**Disney Cruise Line is a drug-free workplace. All new hires are required to undergo drug/alcohol testing within the first week onboard and throughout their contracts. Failure to pass the drug/alcohol testing will result in immediate termination. - Two years’ experience in security screening procedures Security (Airports/Maritime) considered
- Computer literacy required
- Legally authorize to work in The Bahamas
- Training in self defense and physical restraint techniques helpful
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in verbal and written English language
- Proficient in the use of screening, hand wand and metal arch way equipment
- Experience in Police / Military Police Very Helpful
- Oversee the embarking and disembarking of the guests and crew from/to the Vessel from/to the resort grounds.
- Review and understand the Port Facility Security Plan.
- Access control of people, property and stores from/to the Vessel from/to the resort grounds, which includes processing all guest and crew through metal archway and physical inspection of carry-on items through the hand wand equipment and pat downs if required) to identify potential threat items carried within and observing guests and crew going through the maritime security check points
- Checks Guest and Crew ID cards at check points
- Escort discharged Crew while processing out
- Observe and maintain control of minor Guests in resort areas
- Secure and preserve evidence in any personal injury accident scene, crime scene which has been committed in their presence
- Carry out pat down searches of personnel as directed
- Carry out physical searches of luggage/stores
- Render assistance to Guests and Crew when and where necessary
- Any other duties as assigned by the Security Officer
