Senior Manager - Change & Transformation

K39 Consulting is dedicated to driving growth and innovation within the Defence Maritime sector. As we expand our services within Maritime Sector and establish exciting new opportunities, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Manager - Change and Transformation to join our team.

A dynamic and creative individual with a natural ability for problem-solving and a flair for innovative solutions, you are an excellent communicator who can articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Adaptable and resilient, you thrive in fast-paced, constantly changing environments and show deep empathy and support to team members and stakeholders during transitions. As a proactive and self-motivated self-starter, you drive projects forward with minimal supervision, valuing collaboration and adeptly building strong relationships with diverse groups. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures all aspects of change initiatives are thoroughly considered and executed.

As a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing change within the Defence sector, particularly in Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) programmes, you excel in developing and implementing comprehensive change management strategies aligned with organisational goals. Your strong project management skills enable you to oversee complex initiatives from inception to completion, while your expertise in risk management ensures successful outcomes through effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, you manage and engage multiple stakeholders, including Defence departments, maritime project teams, and external partners, ensuring compliance with Defence-specific requirements and policies. With analytical skills to evaluate the impact of changes on operations, projects, and stakeholders, you use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and achieve tangible results through continuous improvement and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive change management strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Address specific requirements and regulations related to Defence projects and operational changes.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes on Defence operations, projects, and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks associated with changes and develop appropriate mitigation plans to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Work closely with Defence departments, maritime project teams, and external partners to ensure alignment with Defence goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical, operational, and strategic teams to address change-related issues.
  • Track and assess the effectiveness of change management initiatives in the maritime Defence context.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in change management, with a preference for experience in the Defence or maritime sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
