Technical Support in Ship Classification is a part of DNV Maritime and provides global support and governance to all DNV’s regions in the daily operation of vessels. 

Technical Support, Høvik consist of 7 units, 4 technical units located in Høvik and 2 Technical Helpdesk units located in Houston, and Singapore. Together with 3 sister units in Hamburg and one in Piraeus these units cover all technical disciplines relevant for vessels in operation and provide 24/7 service on DATE® and Remote survey. 

Our Managers in Technical Support are now looking for students for our summer jobs for the summer of 2025. They will select summer students based on their business needs aligned with your education, experience and background. 

Please indicate your master program specialization and/or main area of study during the application process.

We are looking for students with relevant knowledge and competence. We trust our summer students to help us keep our business up and running during the summer and make our projects proceed according to plan. We are primarily looking for 3rd and 4th year students with relevant Master Program specialization from:

  • Naval Architect
  • Marine Technology
  • Machinery
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Materials Technology
  • Welding Technology or NDT
  • Data Science / Date Analytics / automation /robotics  #summerjob
